May. 2000. Established Uchiyama Vietnam Inc. Rent a plant in Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park, located 17km away from Ho Chi Minh City. Capital: $660,000 (100％UMC)

Sep. 2000. Started manufacturing Bearing Seals

Dec. 2000. Started delivery to UMC Japan

May. 2003. Increase capital to US$1,540,000; (UMC: 94.3%; NE Seal: 5.7%) Started construction of new plant in the Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park.

Nov. 2003. Awarded “QS9000” for quality control. Started shipment to European customers.

Feb. 2004. Increased capital to US$1,815,000 (UMC: 80%; NE Seal: 20%)

Mar. 2004. Started manufacturing gaskets, Moved to new plant from rental plant.

Jan. 2005. Awarded “ISO14001”for environmental management system.

Dec. 2005. Increased capital to US$2,700,000 (UMC: 80%; NE Seal: 20%)

Mar. 2006. Awarded “ISO/TS16949”, started production of Hub seal, mold for Bearing Seals

Jul. 2007. Expanded the building to 9,600㎡

Aug. 2011. Bought 2nd factory, moved production of bearing seals to 2nd factory

Apr. 2013. Bought 3rd factory, moved production of molds to 3rd factory.

Apr. 2014. Started production of encoder seal (MG seal) at 2nd factory.

May. 2014. Expanded 3rd factory, moved production of metal insert to the 3rd factory.

Feb. 2015. Started construction the 4th factory at DAIDEN Industrial Park (14 Km from VSIP 1)

Dec. 2015. Moved production of gasket to 4th factory

Aug. 2017. Upgrade QMS’s certification to IATF16949

May. 2018. Expanding plant 4 more 25,600m2 production base

Jun. 2018. Establish design center for product & mold in Ho Chi Minh city

Jan. 2019. Finished expanding construction plant 4, and move production of HUB/MG seal to new plant.

Jul. 2019. Establish the product’s property testing department at plant 4.
